Italian Cymbals - UFIP Zanchi Tosco Izmir Kashian etc.

We are big fans of Italian Cymbals here at Bertha Drums in part due to the previous drum shop in Perth (RWJ Drumstore) being the largest seller of UFIPs outside of Italy and Kevin's love of them was spread around Perthshire.

Its a bit of a complicated history with UFIP being started as a union of different Italian manufacturers and making cymbals under many different brand names and for many different companies. The biggest difference is how many Italian cymbals are cast by injecting the bronze into a spinning mold instead of pressing it into shape which can result in much thinner cymbals.

Some of the related brands or stamps they used are - Pasha, Zanki, Spizz, UFIP, Zanchi, Tosco, Izmir, Kashian, Ritmo, Zeus, Cream, CMI, Hollywood, Percussion Plus, Premier, Vibra among many many others,
